为什么苹果产品那么多生产制造环节都放在中国？ Tim Cook回答：中国在很多年前就已经不是低劳动力成本的国家了。我们选择中国是因为中国在模具制造、加工工具、工艺流程等方面的技术非常成熟、深入、复杂而且经验丰富。在美国，你能召集的这类工程师可能坐不满一个房间，但是在中国，这些人可以填满几个足球场。中国的制造业工厂在模具设计与制造、快速打样、小批量生产到大规模量产中的能力和熟练度是美国所无法比拟的。这也许正是苹果不会回归美国制造业的原因吧，所以川普的制造业回归也就是黄粱一梦。
